This Turkish pasta dish features al dente spaghetti tossed in a rich garlic butter sauce infused with paprika and fresh herbs. The aromatic blend of spices creates a warm, comforting flavor with a hint of smokiness. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner that feels both humble and exotic.

Ingredients

  • 400 g spaghetti

  • 4 tbsp butter

  • 3 cloves garlic minced

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

  • 100 g feta cheese crumbled

Directions

  • 1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water.
  • 2. In a large skillet, melt butter with olive oil over medium heat.
  • 3. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • 4. Stir in paprika and red pepper flakes, cook for 30 seconds.
  • 5. Add cooked pasta to the skillet, toss to coat with the sauce.
  • 6. If needed, add some pasta water to loosen the sauce.
  • 7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • 8. Remove from heat, stir in chopped parsley and crumbled feta.
  • 9. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a vegan version, use plant-based butter and omit cheese or use vegan feta. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days; reheat gently in a pan with a splash of water. Serve with a side of fresh salad or crusty bread to soak up the flavorful sauce.
